Pain

Pain is such an odd concept. I wrote a presentation on the subject recently and found it fascinating. Anyway, without getting deeply into my revision, which wouldn't be interesting for anyone...today, I was shown this, and I just love the descriptions!

It's only pain
It only hurts
I am only down on the floor
Where I have been before
And I'll be here again
Though it hurts to lose you
It's only pain.

No idea why the link wouldn't work- you copying and pasting the whole thing, up to 'index'?

Hehe I remember stumbling across that link a while back when I was procrastinating. I must say the last one on the scale sounds pretty horrific:-
Like fire-walking over flaming charcoal with a 3-inch rusty nail in your heel.

He's pretty vivid with his descriptions :oS

I just think his descriptions are so similar to that of a wine connoisseur!

The wine connection was the one I was going to make. Great minds, and all that jazz.

Good descriptions though not sure what a 'fruity' pain is...

One that makes your mouth water?

I think I can imagine 'fruity' pain...! But cannot otherwise describe it.

And I came up with the wine thing too.

Clearly there are a lot of great minds about these days...
