- I spent a long weekend further north than I had ever been before (I am shamefully geographically-stunted when it comes to the UK), with a boy...well...with my boy! :)
- I've been working for my dad's business Monday-Friday, 9-5, doing some very boring stuff but earning myself a nice amount of money with which to pay off my overdraft.
- On Saturday I ran the Cancer Research Race for Life in Brighton...I'd never actually managed to run the full 5k in training without walking some of it (furthest I'd done was 4.2k) and the fastest time I'd run/walked the 5k was 39 minutes. Anyway. I ran it in 36 minutes, 34 seconds absolutely non stop and it was bloody BRILLIANT. Hehe. And in my post-run madness, I decided to run a 10k in September.
- Today I got my stage 2 exam results. Combined with my coursework marks, I averaged a 56 this year- a solid 2:2. Which is, y'know, okay. But just okay, that's all. So that sort of spoilt my day today.
- I also had my hair cut today which was good cos it was looking really bad. It's all lovely and short again :)
This entry is astoundingly dull, I'm sure. But here we are, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth!

Hello :o)
It's funny, I think we've all been stuck for something to write about recently - I guess it's just that time of year where we're all pretty happy and nothing much is happening, life just seems to be floating along.
I really wish I'd done the race for life thing, well done to you for doing it, that's awesome :o)
Also, boy ;o) xx
Good to see the new blog, Hannah :)
Yeah, I think you're right about the sort of nothingness of this time of year, plus presumably being home (if other people are indeed home?) means seeing old friends etc and spending slightly less time on Facebook/other websites...?
Do the Race for Life next year! I haven't been for a run since I did it, which is shameful really...
And yep...boy :)
It seems absurd but I wanted to do the London Marathon next year, however I missed the deadline for the ballot. So instead I'm going to enter myself in the local half marathon. It'll make me get back to my old fitness levels :o)
Also I forgot to say congrats about the end of year results. 2:2 is definitely nothing to be sniffed at xx
Good luck with the half marathon! My plan is 10k in September, half marathon next year and try to get a place in the FLM in 2010. That's if my spine can cope with a marathon, I'm really not sure!
And thanks for the congrats, it was major mixed feelings.

Few Comments on a few points:
-How far north? I kind of feel like I want to see more of the UK, but I kind of feel like it's kind of all the same, really (except for the people you meet ;o)
- I did race for life, though much less impressively than yourself, so I applaud you for your efforts, as there's no way I could have run it in that time! (I have mentioned before how much I hate running...)
-I desperately need a haircut. I feel like this is always the case. Heavy hair is dragging me down...
It's always good to know people haven't fallen off the face of the earth :)

-TTOYF??
-I was in Stockton-on-Tees...um...nearish to Durham? Scarily far north! I did it by coach and some of the landscape/scenery was really gorgeous, the North York moors for example. I really want to see more of this country...well, and others, but I feel good ol' Blighty is somewhat forgotten at times!
-Well done for doing the RFL! Any achievement is an achievement in itself and whilst one of my friends did it in 26 minutes a couple of weeks before me (a whole TEN MINUTES faster than me, bah) I'm still proud of myself, lol. At the Brighton one, the woman who finished first did it in 18 minutes. Literally double my speed. Crazy.
-Have a haircut, go on, doooo it! I spent the last two years growing my hair and now I look at photos of me with long, dark hair, and go...WHY?! I'm loving the shortness, it dries so quickly too!
-Good to see you, too, haven't vanished :)
ttoyf = 'this time of year feeling" it's such a neat acronym and so very fitting to the moment - I think it could catch on. Or not, and I'm just weird.
Well, I did RFL in a little less than...double your speed. But to walk it is better than not do it at all, eh? You can feel more proud of yourself in comparision to moi :P
Can we see a hair before/after comparision shot? I'll show mine if ever I get round to choppin' it.*
*maybe
Walking it is definitely still good. I walked it two years ago. Hair...um...well, it used to be long long, a la... http://photos-e.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v184/31/6/511766953/n511766953_634804_3048.jpg
And then I cut it short, but it was growing out, so looked like..

And now it's like...

Ooo I like the new hair a lot. Suits you really well :o)
Hehe :) Thanks.
